Homeschool Mom Books

I receive emails and messages daily asking me about the Homeschool Mom books I share on my facebook, instagram , Google+ and now Pressgram account(s). I try to respond to everyone in a timely manner but think it’s time to begin this list. I will add to it over time and provide you with all of the books that I have read over the past few years and the ones I will read in the future.

For me, I love reading books and a few blogs.  I enjoy reading books by authors who have traveled this road and have fruit to show from their effort.  I think it is very important to discern proper reading materials.  And yes, I believe you should even do that with my writing.  If I ever write anything that is not truth, I pray that you, sweet friend will email or message me.  My heart is to truly equip Moms (and Dads) to disciple and educate their children.

So, here it is – the list you’ve been asking for and the one I finally put together for you.  Keep it close by and please, share it with your friends.

First and foremost - The Bible and then:

    Hello Rebecca,

I just came across your site today & love the book recommendations. I wa wondering if you have read “Shepherding a child’s heart” some friends want to start a Bible study on it in two weeks and I am just wondering if its a good book. My children are almost four & two years old. Thank you for your time and helping other women become more Godly. May God continue to bless you & your family.

    • Lisa, I have read it and it is a wonderful book. I’m going to write a new post soon for all Christian Moms (not just homeschool Moms) that will include a list of books every Christian Mom should have – and that is one of them! Oh, what a blessing you are to your littles! 4 and 2! I remember that sweet age. Keep up the good race, keep your eyes focused on Christ and know that every second you pour into their hearts, you are pouring into the Kingdom of Heaven! And thank you – thank you for your comment. It’s always good to know that my words are encouraging to others…
