A few weeks ago, my fabulous facebook community asked me to share my new skin care regiment using my essential oils. So, today, I want to share my moisturizer. I have been using it for 2 months and am absolutely IN LOVE with the results I am experiencing not only on my face, but my entire body.
The dry winter air is moving into the southeast and that always means two things for me: Increased adult acne and dry hands, feet, elbows and knees. Every year, beginning in October, I begin to see the impact of the dry season and am always desperate to find something to relieve my feet the most.
I am not the only one who is thrilled with the results. Everyday, my children (and husband ) comment on how soft my skin is now and how much healthier it looks.
Mix the organic oats and baking powder (1 to 1 ratio) in an air tight glass container and the honey in a separate container.
- When you are ready to wash your face – steam it with hot water.
- Lather your skin with the honey.
- Mix (equal parts) of honey and oat/baking powder mixture and add 1 drop of Frankincense Essential Oil. Make a paste and use this to wash your face.
- Rinse with hot water
- Rinse with cold water
- (do not do this more than 1 time per day – I use it in the evening)
After you have rinsed your face with hot and cold water, apply this as you desire to your face. You can use this at any time on your hands, arms, legs, feet, etc.
