It’s December and time to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This to me, is one of the most beautiful times of year. Truly, to sit and ponder the prophecies that were fulfilled in a tiny babe born at the foot of the palace of Herod. Can you imagine? Have you ever considered it?

Herod, sitting in that Palace that overlooked the entire land. He was not a nice man, but he had it all. He had the palace, the wealth, the servants, the throne – he looked like a King.

And yet, in a tiny manger, a babe was born. He had no throne, no palace, really, HE had nothing (when you consider wealth to be things that are of this earth.)

This babe, grew and shared his life with us. He spoke truth, love and even angry words at time when He saw His Father’s house being used in a way it should not have been. OH, what a blessing God gave us through His son. By sending Him into the world to be the son of a carpenter and never having a place of His own during His ministry, God showed us truly, we can depend on Him.

Reading and Praying through God's word will enable you to celebrate the birth of our savior in a way you may never have experienced before. Enjoy this free prayer journal created by Rebecca at MomsMustardSeeds.com

This Christmas, let’s P.R.A.Y. through the Christmas story. Let’s sit and take time to worship Him through sweet moments in His word. Let’s celebrate focusing on the real gift that brings REAL Joy this Christmas season.

Last year, I created some Christmas copywork for your children. This year, I have updated the copywork to include the KJV of scripture. There are pages with manuscript, cursive and lines for those just learning to write.

And Mom, I didn’t want to leave you out. Your heart needs Christ, just as your children’s hearts do. So, this journal is for you. It’s free.

  6. Susanna Barbee (Zealous Mom) says:

The irony of Herod being called a “king” while Jesus was being born to an exhausted mom and dad amongst animals is such an awe-inspiring story. Thank you for reminding us about the true meaning of Christmas!

  7. I love that you’ve made it for mom, too! I can’t even imagine giving birth to a king in a stable full of animals and hay.

  13. More people need to stop and remember what the season is all about before rushing about and maxing their credit cards just for the sake of “giving”. Sometimes giving doesn’t involve money at all.

  14. That’s so awesome of you to offer your work for free because you believe so strongly in it! I can tell that you are truly such a great person by your actions and the way you interact with people. I will definitely pass this on to some people who I think could really benefit from it this time of year. Take care! :)

  15. One of the things I wanted to give my children was my love of God and a good relationship with Christ. It is one of my greatest successes that I have been able to do that.
