Unstoppable Where is God in the Midst of tragedy Review Giveaway

It’s Unstoppable: the constant need to ask questions about the state o f our world. “Is there justice in the world? Why do bad things happen? If there is a God, why doesn’t God heal and fix our problems?” These are questions everyone asks.

Unstoppable was inspired by a friend of Kirk Cameron’s who died (at the age of 15) because of cancer, as a means of answering this question.

The documentary begins with Kirk is sitting on his front porch. He re-lives the night he learned that his young friend had died. He is sharing the words Matt’s Dad shared with him when he called him to find out if Matt had died (as his son told him when he returned from a trip).

“The hardest part, a couple of days ago, Matt was sitting on the side of his bed. Matt said, “Dad, I feel so weak. I don’t have anything left in here.” He held up his arms and his fingers and said, “My arms are this big. I don’t know if I can make it this time, Dad. Dad, can you fix me?” His Dad said, “Buddy, the only one who can fix you now, is God.” He looked down and knew God was not going to heal him this time.

There's a time to speak and the time is now. Unstoppable the Movie

Why does God allow bad things to happen to good people?

This is the ‘faith-wrecking question that turns Christians into atheists.’ Does this mean God doesn’t care, isn’t powerful enough or He is just not listening to you? It can be a stumbling block that leads many away from the truth of God into the false religion of atheism and many others.

Every family will face a crisis, you must be prepared with truth and knowledge so that you can grow stronger in your faith in God, rather than listening to the world and turning away.

In order to find the answer to these questions and others, you must look into the book that God wrote.

In this fantastic documentary, Kirk Cameron goes back to the beginning of creation to help answer this question. He walks through the beginning of creation and into the fall of mankind: the origins of good and evil, to encourage people to seek the true answers to the questions they are asking.

This is a movie every family should watch. It will help you answer these questions and encourage you in this day and age the world is screaming for us to follow false prophets and gods that lead to an endless destruction, truly the depths of an eternity in hell.

  1. Tiffany Wertenberger says:

I have been wanting to see this movie! Thanks for the giveaway!

  2. I think this movie is so interesting. First of all I really admire Kurt for stepping up in his faith so much. It must be so hard in this industry. Second of all I have a 8 year old that asked that kind of question when her great grandmother had passed away in 2008. She was just about to turn 3 when this happened and her great grandma was her bestest friend. She still talks about it and in fact this is the month that she went home to be with the Lord. It’s a hard question to answer someone so young. I would love to watch this movie and get more insight. Thanks for the chance to win. :-)

  3. I think it will be very useful when dealing with other people that ask these same questions.

  4. This is awesome! I have yet to see the movie, but have heard wonderful things about it! Thanks!

  5. I enjoy watching uplifting media that strengthens faith and provides encouragement. This sounds like it would fit the bill. Love Kirk Cameron’s films! Thanks for the chance to win!

  9. I’ve wanted to see this for so long, just to be encouraged and strengthened in my faith. It looks incredible.

  10. I have been wanting to see this movie. As I understand it, I think it would be real helpful for my family right now. My husband’s uncle suddenly passed away at the beginning of January, and we are all having a hard time dealing with it. He was the glue that held the whole family together :(

  11. This looks so great! Thanks for the chance to win.

  12. Sounds like a great movie! Thank you for sharing it and also for the giveaway. God willing me and my family will have a chance to see it.

  13. My husband will be graduating in May with a MDiv in Christian Apologetics. These are questions that are asked a lot in the world today and we would be very interested in watching this to see how Kirk presents the answers.

  14. Emily Quesenberry says:

It would be great to have this DVD to be able to have a focused polished answer to give to others wondering theses same things. Thanks for the chance to win!

  15. June Lisle says:

I am always impressed with Kirk Cameron movies and am always up for a new Christian movie to watch.

  16. I wanted to see this movie when it was in theaters but didn’t get a chance. I’m interested in this movie because I could use some answers too. I’m not exactly at a crisis point anymore but it helps to get a boost and some reminders. I’ve really needed lots over the last 7 years since my baby son died. Thanks for the opportunity.

  17. I have been wanting to see this movie. I love how Kirk Cameron and his sister are “Hollywood” people but yet use their fame to spread the Gospel. :)

  18. Tammy Jones says:

I have been wanting to see this! I loved Monumental.
