Teen Apologetics: two words that can cause confusion in today’s world. Nothing better as a parent, right? I mean, Christian parents want their teenagers to read the Bible and grow hearts for God and serve others as Jesus did. Unfortunately, the world pulls our teenagers in thousands of directions as soon as their feet hit the floor. Most of our teenagers probably grab their phones first thing to say hello to their friends. And that isn’t a bad thing. But, as parents, we know the first and best hello should be to their Heavenly Father.
The knowledge and wisdom we have grown come from years of experience and most of us had to learn through hardships.
OK, maybe you didn’t, but I did.
And I don’t want my children to have to learn the ‘hard way.’ But, I know that unless they listen to me, to my teaching and truly turn toward God, they will learn about life much in the same way I did.
So, I’ve put together a list of books for your teens. They’re for you, too, Mom and Dad. Take time to read, ponder and discuss these books with your teens.
The best way to teach your teens is for example, and that is true when it comes to reading. If you want them to read good books, you need to be reading them, and I promise, you will be glad you did.
