So excited to introduce this to my son. Was trying to figure out “how” I was going to go about teaching this. Thank you!!
Megan says
What ages would you say these are best for? Thanks!
MomRebecca says
Megan, GREAT question! I believe everyone should watch the videos. The text in the posts is basically a re-written version of the videos…so, it’s good for your older children (say, 4th grade and up) to read and then watch…as well as use the worksheets provided. Your younger children will not understand all of the terminology, but by allowing them to listen, you can start teaching them now about American History, our founding Fathers and documents so as they grow…they can add more to their learning. This is also a great way for adults who were never taught about these documents to learn them in the privacy of their home.

Hi: These are great. Are they going to be available as long as you have this website? I saw them at Homeschool Freebies. Do I have to download anything? Thanks so much. I am excited to use this very soon.
MomRebecca says
Janice,
Thank you for dropping by from Homeschool Freebies – don’t they provide some really great FREE resources? Yes, all of these lessons will be free as long as I have my website. Each lesson contains at least one video, some have two and each lesson also contains a printable. The printables are easy to print.
These lessons are completely free – you don’t have to follow my website, sign up for newsletters or anything…. and I intend to maintain these lessons in that fashion.
Here is a link to another long list of lessons you can use – that are not just from my website but others – it is my Ultimate List of Early US History – I pray all of my resources will be useful in your home.
Please let me know if there is anything in particular you need help with (in addition to these)
